The State Education Agency LENS Reporting System is designed to provide confidential access to information regarding student performance on state assessments in mathematics, English language arts/literacy, and science. It also includes data on English learners' annual assessments of English language proficiency.
The system offers two types of reports: Quick Reports and Interactive Reports:
-
Quick Reports: These reports are available for district and school-level users. They provide basic participation and performance data for individual schools, districts, and the state as a whole. For individual students, Quick Reports allow quick access to their data by entering their state ID or selecting them by name.
-
Interactive Reports: These reports offer more detailed and customized information for users who want to delve deeper into the data. As a designated user with access to confidential data, you can view detailed information for individual students. Interactive Reports enable users to explore data based on specific grade levels, student groups, or compare data from selected schools or districts.
Within the reporting system, there are three types of reports available:
- District & School Quick Reports: These reports present tables displaying basic participation and performance data for each school, district, and the state as a whole.
- Student Quick Reports: This report provides quick access to Individual Student Reports, allowing you to view data specific to an individual student.
- State Assessments Interactive Reports: These reports offer more detailed and customizable views of state assessment data. Users can drill down to view data related to specific grade levels, student groups, and make comparisons between schools or districts.
By utilizing the State Education Agency LENS Reporting System and its various report options, education professionals can gain valuable insights into student performance and make data-informed decisions to improve education outcomes.
