How to Manage the course?

  • To access a course, click on the course tile that you wish to enter.

  • When you enter a course, you will see the course organization by course, units, lessons, and activities on the left side of the page.

  • When you enter a course, you will see a complete list of the students assigned to the course.

  • Click on the expand/collapse icon located beside the course, units, and lessons to organize the course content allowing you see only what you want to see.

  • Within the Units/Lessons, you will see all learning activities assigned to the student.

  • As an instructor, you have the ability to publish or not publish course content. Click on the toggles located on the top right side of the course, unit, or activity. This will allow you to publish or not publish different parts of the course giving you the control to show/release course work you wish the students to access.

  • To access a particular activity, click on the desired activity you wish to see. This could be a lesson, an assessment, an assignment, or resources that are inside of the course.

    • When you click on an activity, you will see student information beside each student that will show if they have started the assignment and, if finished, their performance results. Click on the band located to the far right of each student to view more data and results on the activity.

    •  To view the details of the activity, click on the details icon to the right of the publish/not publish toggle. This icon allows you to view the details of the activity and, if applicable, to launch into the activity itself and view the content.

    • When clicking on an Activity, you also have the option to view the framework (if applicable) and any supplemental documents using the attachments tab.

  • At the top of the course page, in green, the instructor has access to various tabs to do different functions within the course.

    • Learning—The Learning Tab is the default tab that shows the course organization and all relevant units, lessons, and activities.

    • Announcements—The Announcements Tab allows the instructor to post any general announcements relevant to the course that all students will see.

    • Discussions—The discussions tab is a non-graded discussion board that allows for the instructor and students to communicate freely.

    • Documents—The Documents tab allows the instructor to post any general documents that can be accessed by members in the course.

    • Members—The members tab gives the instructor access to all of the students giving them the ability to view individual student profiles and learning data.

    • Performance—The Performance tab gives the instructor the ability to view learning activity data and performance results across the course.

    • Schedule—The Schedule tab gives the instructor access to calendar information regarding dates and deadlines across the course.
